Making a privacy request

Last updated 26 October 2026

This page explains how to ask Mysite.ai, Inc. (“Tasted”, “we”), the company responsible for your information, to show you, correct, delete, or hand over the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why; this page is about what to do.

The short version

1. Who can make a request

Which rights the law gives you depends on where you live. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, section 12 of the Privacy Policy lists your rights under the GDPR; for US states, see section 4 and section 11. If a right does not apply to you, or we cannot do all of what you ask, we will tell you why.

2. What you can ask for, and how

Only deleting your account is self-service. Everything else is handled by a person on our team, by hand, after you email privacy@jointasted.com.

3. What to put in your email

Please do not send a passport, driving licence, or any other identity document. We do not need them. And never send anyone the code you use to sign in to Tasted — we will never ask for it.

4. How we confirm it is you

Before we hand over or delete information, we need to be reasonably sure the request comes from the person it is about, because sending your information to somebody else is exactly what this page exists to prevent. Phone numbers are how we recognise people, so we may ask you to confirm that you control the number — for example by texting a code to it and asking you to tell us the code, or by asking you to confirm the request from the phone number on the account. We ask for more only if that is not enough, and we will explain why.

5. What happens next

6. What we may not be able to do

7. If you are not satisfied

Tell us first, by replying to our answer or emailing privacy@jointasted.com. In a US state that gives you a right to appeal our decision, put “Privacy appeal” in the subject line.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority. In the EEA, that is the authority where you live, where you work, or where you think the problem happened — the European Data Protection Board lists them. In the UK it is the Information Commissioner’s Office, and in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
